(M.A. in Language and Engineering)
Freelance translator for German > French and English > French, member of the BDÜ (professional association of interpreters and translators in Germany) and of the SFT (Société Française des Traducteurs).
I graduated with a master’s degree in “Language and Engineering” from the German University of Hildesheim in 2007. Since 2014 I have been living in France again and have been working as a freelance translator of general and technical texts. My specialties include mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, renewable resources, automation and medical engineering. The texts I translate are typically manuals, product descriptions, patents, web sites.
To achieve high quality translations, I use different tools such as Trados Studio 2015, MemoQ 2014 and Transit NXT, as well as the QA tool XBench.
